The Ierahkwa Ne Kanienke Government Affirms Sovereignty and Calls for Unity Among Indigenous Peoples

In a powerful address today, Rarahkwisere, Acting Prime Minister of the Ierahkwa ne Kanienke Government, Keepers of the Eastern Door, called upon clans, villages, and communities across the lands to unite under the auspices of the Kaianerehkowa (Great Law of Peace). With deep respect for ancestors and hope for future generations, Prime Minister Rarahkwisere emphasized a renewed chapter of unity, sovereignty, and shared prosperity.

“We are the Sovereign Ierahkwa ne Kanienke peoples,” Rarahkwisere declared. “We are not under U.S. jurisdiction. We are our own Sovereign Independent Nation.” This declaration underscores the historical context and legal recognition of their sovereignty, which dates back to the first international acknowledgments from Queen Anne of England and Peter the Great of Russia in 1710. The Ierahkwa ne Kanienke government asserts that they have never been displaced from their territory, nor have they entered into contracts with the U.S. or Canadian governments.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the Iroquois, as the original authors of the U.S. Constitution, have long maintained their independence. The most recent recognition of their sovereignty came from the U.S. Congress in 1987/1988, which acknowledged their contributions to the foundation of the United States and its constitution. This recognition affirms their status as a self-governing nation, capable of issuing their own passports and creating laws governing citizenship, adoption, and travel documentation.

In response to recent communications from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA), Rarahkwisere clarified that these entities serve limited roles within foreign-funded government agencies that do not represent the interests of the Iroquois people. “THEY DO NOT REPRESENT THE PEOPLE NOR DO THEY GOVERN THEM,” he stated emphatically. These government agencies have been put in place to attempt to assimilate a sovereign people that do not recognize them as anything other than a 501 C3 not for profit organization and NGO.

The Ierahkwa ne Kanienke Government remains committed to its ancestral responsibilities and to asserting its governance under international laws and Indigenous nationhood. The Prime Minister noted that the joint release from SRMT and MCA pertains to colonial micro-concerns and does not reflect the Iroquois perspective in international forums.

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Ierahkwa ne Kanienke Government has established the world’s first Bank of Indigenous International Settlements (BIIS), focusing on context-finance and fostering financial stability. This innovative platform aims to create pathways for local businesses to grow, generate employment, and circulate wealth within Indigenous communities. The Prime Minister invited all nations to recognize their sovereignty and engage in mutual trade and commerce.

“We remain open to respectful, treaty-based dialogue and collaboration with all governments that honor our self-governance,” Rarahkwisere expressed. “We will continue to adopt and issue any form of licensing under our jurisdiction, including in key areas such as crypto, blockchain technologies, banking, finance, cannabis, sustainable energy, education, health, and free enterprise.”

The Ierahkwa ne Kanienke Government affirms three foundational truths that encapsulate their mission:

– Trade is Sovereignty – Controlling our own markets ensures our future.

– Commerce is Power – A strong economy fosters strong communities.

– Governance is Strength – Unity across nations grants us the weight we have always deserved.

“We are organized. We are recognized. We are the people,” Rarahkwisere concluded.
